Description
The GA-SC64 is Eminence’s tribute to the classic American ceramic-magnet tone that amp builder George Alessandro built his reputation on. Rather than chasing modern hi-fi flatness, this 12″ driver is voiced to sit naturally in a mix: tight, full low end, a warm midrange that pushes through a band, and highs that stay open instead of harsh. Traditional cone and coil materials give it the note articulation and harmonic layering that vintage-style amps thrive on, while still holding up under modern gain and distortion tones.
At a rated 40 watts into 8 ohms, this is a speaker built for players and techs who want authentic breakup character rather than raw headroom — think single-speaker combos or smaller cabs where tone matters more than sheer output. A 100.5 dB sensitivity rating means it still moves air efficiently despite the modest power handling, so it won’t feel underpowered on stage.
