Description
The EV SB122 proves that low end doesn’t need a big footprint. Built around EV’s cast-frame EVS12SB long-excursion 12-inch woofer, this passive sub handles 400 watts continuous (1600W peak) while tipping the scales at just 33 lb — light enough for one-person load-in, punchy enough for real dance-floor duty.
A large vent boosts LF output and extension, while the internal low-pass filter lets you daisy-chain multiple units in parallel without burning an extra amp channel. Dual Neutrik Speakon connectors keep stage wiring tidy and road-ready, and the trapezoidal composite enclosure resists knocks between gigs. A top-mounted pole cup lets you stack a Zx1 (or similar top box) directly overhead, so mobile DJs and small-format PA operators can build a scalable rig without extra hardware.
