Description
sE Electronics brought its studio pedigree to the stage with the V7, a supercardioid dynamic vocal mic designed around the realities of touring: sweaty hands, dropped stands, and monitors turned up loud. Every part that could break is metal instead of plastic, so the mic keeps performing show after show rather than becoming a liability by month three of a tour.
- All-metal build: A zinc alloy chassis and a spring-steel mesh grille resist dents and corrosion, while a beveled grille edge stops the mic from rolling off an amp cab or monitor wedge.
- Gold-plated XLR: Keeps the signal path clean and corrosion-free across years of cable changes.
- Custom DMC7 capsule: An aluminum voice coil paired with neodymium magnets delivers an open, natural tone, while the supercardioid pattern tightens rejection off-axis, giving mix engineers more gain before feedback in loud monitor situations.
- Integrated shock mount: sE’s patented internal shock mount isolates the capsule from handling noise and stand-borne vibration, so performers can work the mic physically without adding rumble to the mix.
- Internal windscreen: Tames plosives and stage-fan noise; a spare black windscreen is included if you’d rather not show off sE’s signature red.
Included in the box: microphone, mic clip, thread adapter, black internal windscreen, and a carrying pouch.
