Description
Ground loops are a recurring headache on any stage, and the Radial StageBug SB-6 is built to solve that problem without adding a single knob you don’t need. This passive, two-channel isolator handles both balanced and unbalanced signals through its 1/4″ TRS inputs and outputs, automatically sensing whether it’s dealing with hi-Z instrument level or lo-Z line level and adjusting the circuit accordingly. Plug in a mono cable or a TRS cable and the SB-6 reconfigures itself on the fly — no manual switching required.
- Passive isolator for balanced and unbalanced signal chains
- Kills hum and buzz caused by ground loops
- Ruler-flat response across the full 20Hz–20kHz audio band
- Auto-configures for hi-Z or lo-Z connections
- Two Eclipse transformers deliver transparent, uncolored isolation
- -10dB input pad tames hot source devices
- Polarity reverse on output B for aligning stereo phase
Because it’s fully passive, the SB-6 needs no external power — connect it and go, whether you’re troubleshooting noise on a monitor mix, cleaning up a stereo guitar rig, or isolating a pedalboard from the rest of the signal chain. It’s a practical, no-fuss addition to a rider or a rack, and it earns its place by simply working every time you need it.
Like every Radial product, the SB-6 is manufactured in Canada with 16-gauge steel construction and a durable powder-coat finish, built to survive load-in, load-out, and everything in between.
