Description
Built to anchor the bottom end of any live rig, the Peavey Dark Matter DM 115 pairs a 15″ heavy-duty woofer with a 3″ voice coil to a rugged internal amp section rated at 800 watts peak. DDT compression keeps the driver protected under demanding sets, while forced-air cooling on the amp module lets it run hard through long shows without choking output.
Each vented enclosure accepts input via a combo XLR/1/4″ TRS jack and routes signal through an internal crossover network, so you can send full-range or high-pass-filtered signal onward. Two balanced high-pass XLR thru outputs plus a full-range XLR thru make daisy-chaining tops or additional subs straightforward on a rider-friendly rig. A front-panel level knob and combo LED (power/DDT limiting indicator) give you quick visual confirmation without pulling up a mixer channel.
Dial in the low end further with the adjustable Kosmos C control for extra bass impact, flip the polarity switch to correct phase against your tops, and use the ground lift to knock out hum from a shielded run. A perforated steel grille and steel side handles are built for the load-in/load-out grind, and despite housing a 15″ driver, the cabinet keeps a relatively compact footprint for easier transport and stacking.
This listing includes a matched pair of DM 115 subs, each shipped with a threaded pole mount and speaker pole for pairing with a top cabinet.
