At its core sits EV’s own EVS-15M 15-inch woofer paired with a DH-1C 1-inch titanium compression driver, both purpose-built for this cabinet rather than off-the-shelf parts. A 1200W Class-D amplifier pushes peak output to 132 dB SPL, with a 90°x60° dispersion pattern using EV’s patented SST waveguide keeping coverage tight and even across the room.
QuickSmartDSP puts serious control at your fingertips right on the cabinet’s LCD: four instant presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), sub/top crossover matching, three-band EQ, five storable user presets, limiter status monitoring, and master gain control. Pair it with the QuickSmart Mobile app over Bluetooth LE and you can configure, monitor, and receive overload alerts for up to six ELX200 boxes at once — from out in the room, not crouched behind the stack.
Built for the road, the polypropylene composite enclosure keeps weight manageable (41.67 lbs net) while three M10 rigging points and the familiar ZLX three-handle layout make flying or hand-carrying straightforward.
