Each ELX115P steps up from the 112P with a 15″ EVS-15K woofer and a 1.5″ DH-1K titanium compression driver, crossed over at 1.7 kHz. The result is a 44 Hz–20 kHz range (-10 dB) and a calculated max SPL of 134 dB per box — enough headroom for bands, DJ sets, and speeches alike, without begging for a subwoofer on smaller shows. The 90° x 50° coverage pattern throws wide horizontally while keeping vertical spill off ceilings and back walls, so front-of-house stays intelligible from the first row to the back.
Power comes from a 1000 W Class D amp that runs fan-free and cool, so you won’t fight amplifier noise during quiet passages. Hook-up is straightforward via combo XLR/TRS inputs, stereo RCA, and an XLR link output — friendly for mixed line and stage sources. The 9-ply braced plywood cabinet with steel powdercoat grille is built to survive the van, and it pole-mounts or stacks directly on EV’s Live X subwoofers when you’re ready to scale the rig up.
Holding it all up, the Ultimate TS-70B tripod stands use glass-reinforced polycarbonate collars and fittings rated 3-5x stronger than typical nylon parts at this price, on lightweight anodized aluminum tubing that won’t corrode. A locking pin and ergonomic Z-knob keep height and leg angle locked in through the night. Two 20′ XLR cables round out the package so you’re patched in and soundchecking within minutes.
