Description
The EV ELX115 is built for engineers who need dependable, wide-coverage sound reinforcement without hauling around a fleet of oversized boxes. As part of EV’s Live X series, it pairs a 15″ EVS-15K woofer with a 1.5″ DH-1K titanium compression driver to deliver a clean, extended frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, backed by a max calculated SPL of 134 dB at 1m in half space. That kind of headroom means the ELX115 can anchor mid-size rooms, corporate stages, houses of worship, or club dates as a standalone full-range box, or lock into a larger rig alongside subs and additional tops.
Coverage is a wide 90° horizontal by 50° vertical, so front-of-house engineers get consistent pattern control across the audience without fighting hot spots or dead zones. A 60° monitor angle also puts it to work on stage as a floor wedge when the gig calls for it. The internally braced 9-ply, 15mm plywood enclosure keeps the cabinet lighter than composite alternatives while staying rigid under the strain of 400W continuous / 1600W program / peak power, and the parallel Neutrik NL4 connectors make signal routing straightforward for touring and install crews alike.
