The Electro-Voice ELX115 is built for operators who need more room-filling low-end than a 12″ cabinet can offer, without stepping up to a full subwoofer rig. A 15″ EVS-15K woofer paired with a 1.5″ DH-1K titanium compression driver gives this passive two-way box a 50 Hz-20 kHz working range, 95 dB sensitivity, and a calculated max SPL of 134 dB – enough headroom for weddings, mobile DJ gigs, bars, and mid-size live shows.

On the rider and in the rig, the ELX115 stays practical: it pole-mounts on a standard stand for FOH or monitor duty, and stacks directly onto Live X subwoofers when you need to add low-frequency extension for bigger rooms or outdoor coverage. The 40 Hz recommended high-pass frequency helps protect the woofer when you’re running it off a sub or amp with adjustable crossover points.
Sold as a pair, these cabinets give you a scalable two-box PA that covers most small-to-mid venue work on its own, and slots straight into a larger EV Live X system as your show requirements grow.
