It’s part of Eminence’s Professional Series, engineered for touring and installed sound applications where headroom, reliability, and consistent tone matter every night.
The die-cast aluminum basket keeps the driver light without sacrificing rigidity, and because aluminum doesn’t pull magnetic flux out of the gap, motor strength stays high while stray magnetic field is minimized. Every metal component gets Eminence’s proprietary e-coat epoxy-acrylic finish, held to a tolerance of 0.001″ — a detail that matters when the motor design depends on tight clearances. Front and rear sealing gaskets come standard, so the driver drops into either front- or rear-loaded cabinet designs without modification.
With an 800W continuous power rating (1600W program) and 97dB sensitivity at 8 ohms, this woofer is built to deliver clean SPL for subwoofer cabinets and full-range low-end duty in demanding PA and sound reinforcement setups. A usable frequency range of 40Hz-800Hz and 25Hz resonance make it a strong fit for vented boxes sized between 3.4 and 7 cu.ft.
