At its core is a 12-inch EVS-12M woofer paired with a DH-1C 1-inch titanium compression driver, driven by a 1200W Class-D amplifier capable of up to 130 dB peak SPL. Whether you’re running front-of-house for a band, covering a corporate speech, or building a DJ rig, this box has the headroom to keep up.
Coverage is handled by EV’s patented Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide, delivering a steady 90° x 60° pattern that keeps tone consistent from the front row to the back wall. Onboard QuickSmartDSP simplifies setup with four voicing presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), sub/top system-match crossovers, a three-band EQ, and five user-programmable memory slots—so front-of-house engineers can dial in a room fast and recall it just as quickly next time.
Beyond the box, EV’s QuickSmart Mobile app (Bluetooth Low Energy, available in select countries) lets you wirelessly monitor and adjust up to six ELX200 speakers at once, right from where the audience sits—not from behind the stack. Limiter status, input levels, and master gain are all visible without ever touching the rear panel.
Physically, it’s built for the road: a durable polypropylene composite enclosure, steel powdercoated grille, integrated pole mount, and the proven ZLX three-handle design make load-in and rigging painless. Three M10 threaded points give you flying options when the gig calls for it.
