The EKX-15P brings Electro-Voice’s live-sound pedigree into a rig that’s easy to carry, easy to dial in, and loud enough to cover most rooms on its own. This unit is open box in mint condition — a great way to get genuine EV engineering at a lower price point.
Under the hood, a 1500 W Class-D amp drives EV’s own EVS-15M 15″ woofer and a DH-1M titanium compression driver, reaching up to 134 dB peak SPL. That’s serious headroom for DJs, bands, and installers who need one box to handle both low end and top-end clarity without straining.
QuickSmartDSP puts tone-shaping in your hands with a single-knob interface and LCD menu: four quick presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), a sub/top crossover match, three-band EQ, and five user-programmable slots for storing your own settings. Cardioid-capable EV subwoofers can be paired with this top box for stages that need rear rejection.
Coverage is 90° x 60°, thanks to EV’s Signal Synchronized Transducers waveguide, so the pattern stays even from the front rows back. A 15 mm braced plywood cabinet with EVCoat finish, eight M10 rigging points, aluminum pole mount, and metal handles make it road-ready for rental, install, or touring use.
