Acoustic singer/songwriters gigging solo need a rig that can carry a full-band feel through the front-of-house PA without a mixing engineer riding faders all night. The VE-8 Acoustic Singer handles that job on its own, combining studio-grade vocal processing with dedicated guitar effects and a purpose-built looper, all routed through outputs designed to plug straight into house and monitor systems.
On the vocal side, the XLR mic input (with switchable phantom power) feeds Enhance, Pitch Correct, and a bank of Harmony/FX modes — HIGH, HIGHER, HIGH&HIGHER, LOW, HIGH&LOW, DOUBLE, RADIO, DIST, and ELECTRIC — plus reverb and a 3-band EQ with low cut for tone-shaping to the room. The automatic harmony engine reads chords and key straight off the guitar input and builds the correct harmony part in real time, so a solo performer can sound like a duo without a second mic on stage.
The guitar channel adds Acoustic Resonance along with Chorus/FX (Chorus, Tremolo, Phaser, Delay, Mod Delay, Octave, Slow Gear, Ring Mod), reverb, EQ, low cut, notch filter, and phase — useful for taming feedback-prone acoustic-electrics on loud stages. An 80-second phrase looper, triggered by footswitch, lets performers layer rhythm parts, vocal counterpoint, or chord beds on the fly, with guitar, voice, or both selectable for looping.
For system integration, stereo balanced XLR outputs run direct to the house PA while separate 1/4-inch outputs feed stage monitors or an acoustic amp; the two channels can also be split to separate outs for external mixing. USB connectivity turns the VE-8 into a direct recording interface. All settings, plus effects, save across 50 memory slots for quick recall between songs or venues.
