Description
The ATM710 brings studio-grade condenser clarity to the stage, where most vocal mics settle for dynamic performance instead. Its cardioid pickup pattern keeps monitor wedges and neighboring instruments out of the capsule, tightening isolation on crowded stages and giving front-of-house engineers a cleaner channel to shape. That focus makes it a strong fit for houses of worship, theater vocal tracks, and any stage running in-ear monitoring where wide-open pickup patterns become a liability.
Two onboard switches let the mic adapt to the performer rather than the other way around. An 80 Hz high-pass filter cuts proximity boom and popping during close-mic’d belting, while a 10 dB pad drops sensitivity so the capsule stays composed even as SPL climbs on a hot stage. A multi-stage grille tames plosives and sibilance before they hit the element, preserving top-end detail instead of just muffling it.
Handling noise is engineered out at the mechanical level, so stands, cable movement, and enthusiastic performers don’t translate into stage rumble through the PA. The all-metal chassis and gold-plated XLRM connector are built for the wear-and-tear of touring and rental inventory alike.
