Description
When a job calls for background music in one room and page-priority announcements in another, the ART MX624 handles both from a single rack space. Six stereo input channels each get independent level control and can be routed to Zone 1, Zone 2, both, or neither — giving installers real flexibility across conference rooms, boardrooms, churches, restaurants, health clubs, and small venues.
Channels 1-3 include balanced mic XLRs with switchable +48V phantom power (assignable per channel) and selectable padding for hotter sources. All six channels accept unbalanced stereo line-level input via RCA, and a front-panel 1/8-inch TRS jack makes it easy to plug in a portable player for quick background audio. Channel 1 doubles as a paging trigger: flip the front-panel switch and it ducks the other five channels automatically, with ducking depth and threshold parameters adjustable via rear dipswitches — ideal for announcements over ambient music.
Each zone output gets its own master level, bass, and treble controls (+/-12 dB at 100 Hz and 10 kHz), so the two zones can be tuned differently without affecting each other. Need more inputs? Two 1/4-inch TRS bus jacks let you chain additional MX624 units together for larger systems.
