Description
Every rig needs a spot where mic feeds, playback devices, and effects gear can quietly merge into a single stereo output — that’s exactly the job the ART MX622 handles. Housed in a single rack space, this stereo mixer accepts three balanced XLR mic/line inputs and three stereo RCA sources, then blends everything down to a unified stereo line-level mix ready for the house or monitor path.
Each channel gets its own level control and clip LED so you can gain-stage on the fly, while switchable 15-volt phantom power keeps condenser mics fed without hunting for an external supply. A master two-band EQ (+/-12dB at 100Hz and 10kHz) lets you shape the overall tonal balance before signal leaves the box, and a dedicated mono-send/stereo-return effects loop gives you a clean insertion point for outboard processing. Need to capture the mix separately? Independent stereo record outputs run parallel to the main balanced TRS 1/4-inch outs, so recording and reinforcement don’t have to compete.
Internal power supply, low-noise circuitry (>90dB S/N, 0.01% THD typical), and a rugged 1U steel chassis mean it’s built to live in a rack full-time — front of house, broadcast booth, install closet, or submixer duty feeding a larger console.
