Description
The ART MX524 is a rugged, install-friendly mixer designed to feed multiple zones from a single rack space efficiently. Five input channels — four Combo XLR/¼” jacks accepting balanced mic or line signals, plus a fifth RCA line input — can each be routed independently to any of the four zone outputs, making it a natural fit for restaurants, health clubs, houses of worship, corporate boardrooms, and multi-room venues where different areas need different mixes.
Each of the four Combo channels offers switchable +48V phantom power for condenser mics, along with dedicated level, bass, and treble controls so every input can be voiced to match the room or source. Beyond the core routing, the MX524 adds practical install features: a telephone paging input, front-panel headphone monitoring via 1/8″ TRS, separate monitor outputs, and LED VU metering on every output for at-a-glance level checks.
Housed in a 3U steel rack chassis with an internal power supply and DC backup capability, the MX524 is built to run reliably for the long haul in fixed installations as well as touring or studio setups. Euro Bloc connectors on the zone outputs keep wiring secure and installer-friendly.
