Description
Front-of-house engineers and monitor techs need equalization that reacts precisely and stays put through a whole show — the ART EQ355 delivers exactly that. This dual-channel, 31-band 1/3 octave graphic EQ is built for the demands of live sound reinforcement, studio patching, DJ rigs, and permanent installs alike, giving you two independent channels of constant-Q filtering to carve out feedback, flatten problem frequencies, or sculpt tone on the fly. This unit is offered as a demo, so you get full ART performance at a reduced cost.
Each channel routes through your choice of balanced XLR, active balanced 1/4″, or unbalanced RCA connections, making the 355 a drop-in fit for nearly any signal chain. The 20mm center-detented sliders offer tactile, repeatable adjustments with a switchable ±6dB or ±12dB range, so you can dial in subtle correction or aggressive cuts depending on the room. Variable high-pass and low-pass filters let you protect drivers and clean up unwanted extremes before they hit the amp, while per-channel level and bypass controls give you fast A/B comparisons mid-mix.
Built into a rugged, all-steel 2U chassis for standard 19″ rack mounting, the EQ355 is engineered for night-after-night reliability on tour or in a fixed install. A ground lift switch, clip indicators, and internal power supply with selectable line voltage round out a feature set aimed at working sound engineers.
