Description
When you’re patching stages, install racks, or DJ booths into a house system, the DualXDirect gives you two fully independent active DI channels in one rugged, black-anodized aluminum case. Each combo jack accepts 1/4″ or XLR input and buffers it through low-noise active circuitry, delivering an isolated, balanced, low-impedance output that stays clean and neutral even over long cable runs in noisy environments.
Front-panel attenuator switches let you tame hot signals before they hit the input stage, while THRU jacks make it easy to tap a signal for a tuner, amp, or monitor without breaking the chain. Ground lift switches on each channel separate input and output grounds independently, so you can chase down hum and ground-loop problems on the fly during soundcheck.
Power flexibility is built in: run it off phantom voltage from your console, or drop in a 9V battery (draws under 7.5 mA, good for 100+ hours) for standalone use. The status LED even tells you which power source is active — dim for battery, bright for phantom.
- Fully active, dual-channel design
- Phantom power or 9V battery operation
- Converts high-impedance signals to 600 ohm balanced outputs
- Switchable input attenuation (0, -20, -40 dB) and low-pass filter
- Switchable phase invert and ground lift per channel
- 1/4″ TRS | XLR combo jack inputs with THRU jacks
- Extruded aluminum chassis for road durability
With a frequency response flat from 10 Hz to 100 kHz and dynamic range exceeding 100 dB, the DualXDirect holds up in live sound, fixed install, DJ, and recording rigs where reliability and transparency both matter.
