Description
When your system needs a reliable point to combine multiple line-level feeds without adding another full console to the rack, the Ashly LX-308B earns its single rack space. Built as a true stereo eight-channel mixer, it doubles as a sixteen-channel mono unit, giving system techs flexibility whether they’re merging playback decks, distributing multimedia audio, feeding a broadcast truck, or handling a satellite downlink.
Every channel offers balanced 1/4″ TRS inputs with front-panel level and pan controls, and each will happily run balanced or unbalanced depending on your patch. Channels one and two switch between mic and line level, so a pair of mics can plug straight in without an outboard preamp – handy for a quick boardroom setup or a last-minute stage patch. Muting is a one-touch affair via the LED-lit on/off switches, and dual five-segment meters can be flipped between input sums and L/R output monitoring, backed by dedicated clip LEDs watching every internal amp stage.
Output side, the LX-308B gives you balanced or unbalanced L/R on 1/4″ TRS jacks, front-panel stereo level, pan, and mute controls, plus an independent mono summed output with its own level trim. A front headphone jack with its own volume knob makes soundcheck monitoring painless, and pre-master sub in/out ports let you chain the LX-308B with other Ashly gear, such as the MM-508 mic mixer, for scaling up a rig.
Backed by Ashly’s five-year warranty, it’s built for touring cases and permanent installs alike.
