Description
For guitarists and techs building rider-friendly Dry/Wet or Wet/Dry/Wet setups, the Suhr ISO Line-Out Box gives you a transformer-isolated tap straight off any amp’s speaker output jack. It’s a simple way to derive a line-level signal for feeding an effects processor, mixer, or recording interface without disturbing your amp’s natural tone or load.
- Connects to any speaker output jack via the Speaker Thru connections — the amp must always have a speaker load attached; this is not a load box or cab emulator
- If your amp only has one speaker jack, run it into one Speaker Thru jack and plug your speaker into the other
- Line Out jack supports both balanced and unbalanced connections, with the transformer wired to the tip and ring
- Cable shield floats and can be referenced to box ground only when using a balanced cable
- Phase switch flips signal polarity — up to invert, down for normal phase — handy for dialing in coherent summing on Wet/Dry rigs
- Ground Reference switch ties box ground to the Line Out cable ground; use only with balanced cables, and leave down for mono connections
