Multi-console shows demand clean, reliable signal splitting, and the ART S8 handles that job for eight microphones at once. Each input is divided into a pair of balanced, low-impedance outputs — one direct, one transformer-isolated — giving you sixteen usable feeds from eight sources. Run the direct outs to your front-of-house desk and send the isolated outs to monitors or a recording rig, without one system’s noise or ground issues bleeding into the other.
Because the direct outputs pass phantom power straight through from the main mixer, condenser mics on stage keep working exactly as they should, no extra power supplies required. Every channel also carries its own ground-lift switch on the isolated output, so hum and buzz from ground loops between separate rigs stay out of the mix. For riders or setups that call for preamplified sources rather than raw mic level — instrument preamps, keyboards, other mixers — a per-channel attenuator pad lets the S8 accept those signals cleanly too.
This is a demo unit, fully functional and ready to go into a touring or house rig at a reduced price.
