Description
When your stage needs to feed more than one mixing console, the ART S8 is the workhorse that makes it happen. It takes eight balanced, low-impedance microphone signals and divides each into two identical outputs — sixteen in total — so your FOH engineer, monitor mixer, and recording rig can all draw from the same sources without compromise.
Every channel outputs a direct signal plus a transformer-isolated signal from a single mic input. Route the direct outs to your main FOH console (complete with phantom power passed straight through for condenser mics), and send the isolated outs to monitors or a recording desk, free from ground loop interference thanks to the per-channel ground-lift switches.
Beyond splitting mic-level sources, the S8 flexes to handle preamplified signals too — instrument preamps, keyboards, mixer outputs — via an attenuator pad switch on each input, letting you feed those hotter signals into the mic-level outputs without overloading downstream gear.
- Splits mic sources cleanly to multiple consoles for reliable multi-mixer rigs
- Fully transformer isolated for noise-free, hum-free splits
- Passes phantom power from the main mixer to condenser mics
- Per-channel ground lift to kill ground loop noise
- Per-channel pad switch for handling preamplified inputs
- Frequency response: 20Hz–20kHz
- CMRR: greater than 105dB @60Hz, greater than 80dB @3kHz
A rider-friendly, rack-ready solution for any rig where FOH, monitors, and recording all need their own clean feed.
