Description
When your monitor mix is loud and the stage is unforgiving, the V3 is the dynamic mic that keeps working. sE Electronics drew on years of feedback from touring engineers and bands to build a mic that survives the road while still sounding better than most in its class.
- All-metal build: A zinc alloy chassis and spring steel mesh grille resist dents and corrosion, with a beveled grille edge that stops the mic rolling off amps or stage floors.
- Reliable connection: A gold-plated XLR connector keeps the signal clean and loss-free over years of use.
- Internal windscreen: Cuts wind noise and plosives on the fly; a spare black windscreen ships in the box if the red look isn’t your thing.
- Purpose-built voice coil: A custom dynamic capsule with a cardioid pattern isolates your source from stage bleed, giving you gain before feedback with a smooth, musical tone. Neodymium magnets and tight tolerances keep every unit consistent.
- Patented shock mount: Decouples the capsule from handling and mechanical vibration, so movement on stage doesn’t translate into rumble or pops.
Whether it’s tracking screaming guitar cabs or fronting a lead vocal on a packed rider, the V3 handles both with the same dependable clarity – a genuine workhorse for live sound and recording alike.
In the box: Microphone, mic clip, thread adapter, black internal windscreen, carrying pouch.
Specifications: Dynamic capsule, copper voice coil, neodymium magnet, cardioid pattern, 50 Hz-16 kHz frequency range, 600 Ohms impedance, 2.5 mV/Pa (-52 dB) sensitivity, 3-pin male XLR, 52 mm diameter x 181 mm length, 295 g weight.
