Description
When you’re running stereo keys, acoustic guitar, or a bass rig through a snake, the last thing you need is hum, buzz, or a DI box that can’t survive the load-in. The Radial ProD2 handles two channels in one compact steel enclosure, giving front-of-house a balanced, low-impedance signal that travels cleanly to the console without picking up noise along the way.
Inside are two custom-wound Radial transformers, chosen specifically to control phase shift in the bass and midrange – the frequencies most DIs tend to smear. That means your low end stays tight and your mids stay defined, even on long cable runs or noisy stages. Because it’s fully passive, there’s no battery or phantom power to worry about, no power supply to forget at home, and one less point of failure for touring or rider-driven gigs.
The chassis is built from 14-gauge steel with internal I-beam construction and a book-end outer shell, so it shrugs off the abuse of the road case, the stage floor, and the occasional dropped mic stand. It’s a practical stereo companion for keyboard rigs, acoustic duos, or any input list where you need reliable two-channel isolation without adding rack space.
- Passive full-range direct box, 2 channels
- Dual custom Radial isolation transformers reduce noise
- Low harmonic and phase distortion, especially in bass/mid range
- Compact, heavy-duty 14-gauge steel construction
- Suited to acoustic guitar, bass, and keyboard rigs
- Works equally well in live sound and studio settings
