Description
When a show calls for splitting your signal chain on the fly, the Radial Hot Shot ABo gives front-of-house and monitor engineers a dead-simple way to do it. This passive switcher takes one balanced XLR-F input and routes it to either of two XLR-M outputs via a rugged toggle, with no batteries, wall wart, or phantom power needed to operate.
On a busy stage, that flexibility translates into real-world problem solving: flip a vocal mic between the PA and monitor/intercom feeds, send a source to two console channels for parallel wet/dry effects processing, or mute a mic instantly when a performer needs to cough or step away. It’s equally handy in the booth for talkback control, giving engineers a fast, tactile way to manage routing decisions without digging through menus.
Built-in pads let you match gear running at different signal levels, and a ground lift switch is on hand to knock out hum and buzz from ground loops—both common headaches when patching mismatched gear together on tour or between venues.
- Passive AB signal redirector for onstage line-level or mic routing
- One-push toggle switch for instant switching between two outputs
- Pads accommodate devices with differing signal levels
- Ground lift switch eliminates hum from ground loops
- Heavy-duty chassis, switch, and internal components for road use
Radial builds the Hot Shot ABo to survive years of load-in/load-out abuse, and it ships with a 3-year transferable warranty for added peace of mind on any rig.
