Description
Bassists running dual instruments — or just chasing a bigger tonal palette — will appreciate what the Bassbone V2 brings to a live rig. It’s a two-channel preamp and DI hub that lets you connect two basses (or a bass and an upright with piezo, via the PZB booster) and switch between them instantly with a footswitch, no dropped signal, no scrambling mid-set.
Each channel carries its own level control plus a passive-interactive EQ potent enough to reshape your tone on the fly — dial channel-2 right and a P-Bass can convincingly borrow a Rickenbacker’s voice without changing instruments. That flexibility matters for FOH engineers and bandmates alike: consistent, adjustable tone means less guesswork at soundcheck.
Beyond channel switching, the Bassbone V2 adds a second footswitch for a boost (solo lift or mute for silent tuning) and a third for an effects loop with wet/dry blend, so pedals color your tone without swallowing your fundamental low end — and you can route that loop to one channel or both.
Everything terminates in a built-in Radial DI with a low-impedance balanced output, so your stage amp, tuner, and the PA all get a clean, hum-free feed from one compact unit. It’s rider-friendly gear that scales from a small club stage to a full backline setup without adding rack space or signal-chain headaches.
