Description
The DM 115 carries forward Peavey’s long history of building working musicians’ loudspeakers, updating that legacy with an onboard DSP power section tuned for high-output performance. A front-panel LCD and selector knob put bass/treble shaping and multiple factory EQ presets right at your fingertips, so you can dial in the box for floor monitor duty, pole-mounted mains, or a specific room in seconds — and save your own settings as user presets for instant recall next gig.
Inside, a 15″ heavy-duty woofer rated at 410 watts peak works alongside a DX14 compression driver with a 1.4″ titanium diaphragm rated at 250 watts peak, run through Peavey’s Quadratic Throat Waveguide for a controlled 110° x 80° dispersion pattern that helps even coverage across a dance floor or crowd. The DSP engine processes at 64-bit double precision with 24-bit/96kHz I/O and low-jitter components, and a dynamic bass boost function adds low-end punch without taxing the amp.
Hookup is straightforward via a combo XLR/1/4″ TRS balanced input with XLR thru output, plus a Mic/Line switch for matching gain to your source. The cabinet itself is injection-molded and trapezoidal, with angled rear corners for monitor placement and a built-in mount for 1 3/8″ poles, protected by a powder-coated steel grille. A cooling fan keeps the amp section stable through long sets.
