Description
The Amp 100 takes Milkman’s pedalboard-format tube/Class D hybrid concept and scales it up for players who need more headroom on bigger stages. Building on the design that defined this compact amp category in 2018, output has been pushed to a full 100 watts, so front-of-house engineers and guitarists alike get a rig that can hang with a full band mix without sacrificing the small footprint that makes it so easy to slot into any backline plan.
An internal FET boost circuit gives you flexibility that most amps this size simply don’t offer. Set at unity gain, it works as an always-on EQ sweetener that nudges midrange presence forward for cutting through dense arrangements. Push it further and it drives the 12AX7 preamp tube into full saturation for a genuine overdrive tone. Because the boost is placed internally, between the triodes of the preamp tube, it preserves the natural interaction between your instrument and the first gain stage, rather than sitting in front of the input like a typical pedal. This also raises headroom, so The Amp 100 continues to play nicely with external drive and boost pedals already on your board.
A dual-control reverb has been added to this model, giving finer shaping of ambience directly from the amp. Cosmetically, the head wears a black finish with Walnut end panels and silver knobs, a look that fits equally well on a pro stage or in a rider photo.
