Description
Milkman The Amp is built for players who need reliable backline tone without hauling a heavy tube head to every load-in. At its core sits a single 12AX7 running in a discrete, high-voltage Class A preamp — the same kind of circuit that gives vintage tube amps their natural harmonic bloom and touch-sensitive response. Tube-driven EQ shapes the front end, so your guitar’s dynamics translate the way they should through the PA or straight to a cab.
- Onboard reverb and tremolo, each with dedicated bypass footswitches built into the chassis — no extra pedals or MIDI rigs required for a fast setup between sets
- Class D power amp delivering 50 watts into 8 ohms or 100 watts into 4 ohms, giving you headroom to scale up with a second cabinet on bigger stages
- Combination Speakon/1/4″ output jack, so you can run a standard instrument cable for quick changeovers or lock in a Speakon connector when the rig needs to stay secure through soundcheck and a full show
For techs and touring guitarists alike, the appeal is straightforward: tube character up front, efficient and lightweight power delivery on the back end, and effects that live in the amp instead of on the floor. It’s a compact solution for riders that call for dependable tone without the bulk — equally at home on a small club stage or slotted into a larger backline for a festival date.
