Inside, a 5-watt halogen bulb delivers 237 Lux of output at the full 12-inch reach, with a 3000K color temperature that’s warm enough on the eyes for long shows without washing out labels or scribble strips. Draw is a modest 380mA at 12 volts, so it won’t tax a dedicated task-light circuit.
