The Electro-Voice Evolve 50 packs a 12″ powered subwoofer and an eight-driver column array into a rig that assembles in seconds — the aluminum pole locks to the sub magnetically, and the column simply drops on and rests by gravity, with all signal routed internally so there’s no messy cabling between pieces.
Once it’s up, this system covers a room the way a good rider demands. Eight 3.5″ neodymium drivers paired with custom composite waveguides spread sound across a wide 120° horizontal field, while 40° of down-tilted vertical coverage keeps energy landing on both seated and standing listeners instead of firing over their heads. Combined with the 12″ sub, output reaches up to 127 dB SPL — plenty for a full band or DJ set in a mid-size venue, yet the whole rig packs into a carrying bag for solo transport.
Connectivity keeps mixed sources simple: two XLR/TRS combo inputs, a 3.5mm jack, stereo RCA, and Bluetooth audio streaming let DJs, singer/songwriters, and mobile entertainers plug in almost anything, while XLR THRU and MIX OUT jacks make it easy to link a second unit or feed a monitor.
