It folds a transformer-isolated DI, an EQ voiced specifically for acoustic instruments, a chromatic tuner, and a footswitchable volume boost into a single rugged box — meaning less rack gear for the FOH engineer to manage and a cleaner signal path from your pickup to the board.
Feedback is where most acoustic rigs fall apart in a live room, and this preamp is built to fight it. The Garrett Null notch filter targets problem frequencies with precision, sweepable from 60Hz to 320Hz, while phase inversion gives you another tool to tame the mix before it howls. A 5-band EQ with adjustable low-mid and high-mid bands lets you shape tone to the room and the pickup, whether it’s passive or active.
Onboard conveniences make it rider-friendly for touring players: a clip meter for setting gain visually, a 4-segment battery gauge so you’re never caught off guard mid-set, and a series FX loop for adding effects without disrupting your DI signal. Both XLR and 1/4″ outputs are on board for flexible routing to the snake or an amp.
