This Groove Tubes GT-6L6-RQ set gives you four factory-matched 6L6 tubes in the “medium” output range (roughly 20-25 watts each), so your rig’s headroom and gain structure stay predictable set after set.
These tubes are the backbone of the classic Fender lineup — Bassman, Bandmaster, Concert, Dual Showman, Hot Rod Series, Pro Series, Super Reverb, Tremolux, Twin, Vibrolux, Super-Sonic, Blues Deluxe, Blues DeVille, and more — and they’re also known by their AKA designation, 5881. Tonally, expect a round low end with a pronounced midrange push: strident and chesty on the attack, opening into a bright, clean, powerful punch that’s defined the sound of American guitar music since the ’60s.

Bias note for techs and touring crews: if you’re swapping in the same Groove Tube model and rating, no rebias is needed. Any change in tube type or rating should always be followed by a qualified amp tech resetting the bias — a five-minute check that saves you a blown output stage mid-gig.
