Description
Load-in shouldn’t be a workout. The Fender Passport EVENT closes up like a case and opens into two full-range 8″ cabinets, a powered seven-channel mixer, and everything you need to cover a room — no separate mixer, amp rack, or snake required. At 375 watts through dual 8″ drivers and 1.2″ horn-loaded tweeters, it throws clean, articulate sound across small clubs, coffeehouse sets, classrooms, worship spaces, and corporate breakout rooms without demanding a truck to haul it.
The mixer side is where this system earns its keep on a rider. Four XLR mic/line inputs plus a Hi-Z instrument input handle a small ensemble or a speaker panel, while stereo 1/4″, 1/8″, and Bluetooth inputs let you drop in backing tracks or stream straight from a phone. Each channel gets its own volume, treble, bass, reverb, and 20dB pad, so mixing a lecture-and-music combo stays intuitive instead of fiddly. Need to scale up? A 1/4″ Sub Out with automatic high-pass filtering and a Mono Out with level control let you add a powered sub or monitor as the gig grows.
