Description
Fender’s Passport EVENT packs a complete sound system into a single carry-and-go enclosure. Pop the latches and you’re staring at two full-range 8″ speaker cabinets, a built-in powered mixer, a mic, and the cables to get running — no separate rack or snake required. That kind of setup speed matters when you’re loading in for a coffeehouse set, a worship service, or a corporate presentation with a tight changeover window.
Under the hood, 375 watts of Class-D power drive dual 8″ Fender Special Design woofers alongside twin 1.2″ horn-loaded tweeters, giving you enough headroom and horizontal spread to cover a room of small-club or classroom size without straining. The seven-channel mixer section is where this system earns its versatility: four XLR mic/line inputs, a Hi-Z instrument input for a guitar or acoustic pickup, and a combo stereo 1/4″/1/8″/Bluetooth channel for playback. Each channel gets its own volume, treble, bass, reverb send, and a 20dB pad, so you can balance a panel discussion or a duo act without an outboard EQ.
Routing options extend the rig’s reach — a Sub Out with automatic high-pass filtering feeds a powered subwoofer, a Mono Out with level control sends a mix to a stage monitor, and a stereo 1/8″ headphone jack handles private monitoring or a feed to a recording device. International voltage switching (100V-120V / 220V-240V) makes it travel-ready beyond domestic gigs.
