Description
The Fortis F-12BT brings Fender’s engineering into a self-contained, road-ready box that scales from a solo gig to a full room fill. At its core is a 1,300W two-way active system pairing a 12″ cone transducer with a 1.75″ titanium compression driver, delivering a 47Hz–20kHz frequency response and up to 135dB max output — enough headroom for most venues that mix speech, music, and streamed content in one box.
Coverage is dialed in with a 90° x 40° horizontal/vertical dispersion pattern, so bands, presenters, and DJs can cover an audience evenly without excess spill. Three flexible input channels — two balanced 1/4″-XLR combo jacks, a 3.5mm mini input, and high-fidelity stereo Bluetooth — mean you can run a mixer feed, a wireless mic, and a phone playlist all from the same cabinet. Onboard 4-position low-frequency and 3-position high-mid EQ switches let you shape tone for FOH duty, monitor use, or paired with an external sub.
Rigger and touring-friendly by design, the trapezoidal enclosure offers two mounting angles for monitor use on the floor, plus a 35mm pole socket and M10 suspension points for flying or pole-mounting at a show. The 9-ply voidless plywood cabinet and powder-coated perforated steel grille are built to survive load-in after load-in, while on-demand forced-air cooling and oversized heat sinks keep the electronics stable through long sets.
