Description
The EV ZLX-15P is the kind of speaker that earns its spot on the truck: light enough to carry solo, loud enough to cover a full room, and clean enough that engineers stop worrying about the top box and focus on the mix. At the core is a 15″ EVS-15L woofer matched to a 1.5″ DH-1K titanium compression driver, driven by a 1000 W Class D amplifier that delivers 127 dB max SPL with real headroom to spare.
Coverage is dialed in at 90° horizontal by 60° vertical, so front-fill duty, monitor wedges, or standalone mains all get even pattern control without hot spots or dead zones near the edges of the room. Run it flying solo for smaller stages, or stack it with a sub to extend the low end for bands, DJs, or houses of worship needing more punch down low. Frequency range spans 42 Hz to 20 kHz, with a usable frequency response of 55 Hz to 18 kHz for tight, articulate reproduction across the mix.
Input flexibility keeps setup fast: two combo XLR/TRS jacks, a 3.5mm input for direct playback sources, and an XLR link output for chaining additional boxes. The enclosure is molded from durable polypropylene and protected by an 18-gauge steel grille with black powder coat, ready for the realities of load-in, load-out, and everything in between.
