Description
The EV ZLX-12 is built for engineers who need dependable coverage without hauling a truckload of gear. Pair it as a compact main PA for small-to-mid venues, or flip it on its side as a monitor wedge for the band — the enclosure and pole-mount design make it equally at home in either role.
At its core is a 12″ EVS-12K woofer crossed at 2100 Hz to a 1.5″ titanium DH-1K compression driver, giving a working frequency range of 55 Hz–20 kHz (82 Hz–18 kHz frequency response) with a recommended 40 Hz high-pass point for anyone running it off a sub or outboard processor. Sensitivity sits at 95 dB, and the box can push a genuine 125 dB max SPL, backed by 250W continuous / 1000W peak handling into its 8Ω (7Ω minimum) load — enough headroom for club gigs, corporate AV, and monitor duty alike.
Coverage is a symmetrical 90° horizontal x 60° vertical pattern, wide enough to blanket a room without excessive overlap when arrayed in pairs. Dual NL4 connectors give you flexible input/loop-through wiring on multi-box runs.
