Description
When space is tight but audio quality can’t be compromised, the EVID-4.2 steps in as a small-footprint solution with big-room manners. Built around dual 4″ woofers and a 1″ titanium-diaphragm tweeter on a Neodymium structure, this two-way passive design pushes 200 watts and delivers bass extension that punches well above what its compact, three-dimensional ellipse cabinet suggests. That shaping isn’t just cosmetic — it keeps the enclosure discreet on walls in restaurants, bistros, retail floors, houses of worship, and outdoor patios where a bulky box would be unwelcome.
Coverage is handled by a Coherent Coverage Waveguide on the HF section, spreading sound evenly at 120° horizontal by 80° vertical while cutting down on interference between drivers. Overload protection covers both the LF and HF sections, so the 4.2 can be pushed in commercial sound and life-safety installs without babysitting. It’s magnetically shielded too, making it safe near video displays — a practical detail for retail and hospitality environments.
Mounting is straightforward thanks to the included Strong Arm Mount (SAM) and hex-key, plus a rear suspension insert and safety point for secure, code-friendly installs. Sold as a matched black pair.
