The ELX200-18SP is EV’s answer for engineers who need serious bottom end without hauling around a rack of processing gear. Built around an 18-inch EVS-18L woofer driven by a 1200 W Class-D amplifier, it produces up to 132 dB peak SPL — enough headroom to anchor a full-range PA in a club, ballroom, or outdoor stage without straining.
QuickSmartDSP handles the heavy lifting on setup day. Choose from three onboard presets (Music, Live, Club), dial in sub/top system-match crossovers, shape tone with three-band EQ, and store five of your own configurations for instant recall on future gigs. A backlit LCD keeps limiter status, input levels, and master volume visible at a glance, so gain structure stays clean from soundcheck through last call.
Pair it with the EV QuickSmart Mobile app over Bluetooth Low Energy and you can configure, monitor, and adjust up to six ELX200 boxes at once — from out in the room rather than crouched behind the stack. Get pushed too hard and the app flags it immediately, so overdrive gets caught before it becomes a blown-driver conversation. (Bluetooth availability varies by country.)
On the road, the 15 mm plywood enclosure with EVCoat finish and steel powdercoated grille shrugs off load-in abuse, while the integrated M20 pole mount and dual-handle design make single-person handling realistic.
