The ELX200-15 is Electro-Voice’s answer for engineers who want ZLX-grade reliability with sharper coverage control and smarter onboard tools. Inside the lightweight polypropylene shell sits an EV-engineered 15-inch EVS-15M woofer paired with a DH-1C 1-inch titanium compression driver, loaded into EV’s patented SST waveguide for consistent 90° x 60° pattern control across the room.
Power comes from a Class-D amplifier section rated to 1200W, capable of pushing 132 dB peak SPL when the room calls for it. QuickSmartDSP puts real mixing tools at your fingertips via LCD: four voicing presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), sub/top system-match crossovers, three-band EQ, five storable user presets, input metering, limiter status, and master volume — all the gain-structure control you’d normally need a laptop for.
Pair it with EV’s QuickSmart Mobile app over Bluetooth® and you can configure, monitor, and adjust up to six ELX200 boxes at once from wherever your ears actually are — not hunched over the amp rack. You’ll get instant alerts if a box is being overdriven, so you catch problems before they become a blown driver.
On the rigging side, three M10 suspension points and the familiar ZLX three-handle shell make flying or hand-carrying this box painless on load-in and load-out.
