Built around EV’s own EVS-12L 12-inch woofer and driven by a 1200W Class-D amplifier, this powered subwoofer reaches up to 129 dB peak SPL while staying manageable enough for a two-person load-in thanks to its dual-handle design and lightweight 15mm plywood enclosure.
Onboard QuickSmartDSP takes the guesswork out of setup: choose from three presets (Music, Live, Club), dial in a sub/top system-match crossover, tweak three-band EQ, and store up to five of your own presets for recall on the next gig. An LCD lets you keep an eye on limiter status, input levels, and master volume so gain structure stays clean show after show. Need to manage a bigger rig? The QuickSmart Mobile app connects via Bluetooth Low Energy to control and monitor up to six ELX200 boxes at once, with alerts if the system’s being pushed too hard — so you can walk the room instead of hovering at FOH. An M20 threaded pole mount makes it a natural anchor for a top cabinet in portable stacks, while the steel powdercoated grille and EVCoat-finished enclosure hold up to repeated setup and teardown for installed or touring use alike.
