The ELX200-12 is Electro-Voice’s answer for engineers who need dependable, wide-pattern coverage without hauling powered boxes. Built around a 12-inch EVS-12M woofer and DH-1C 1-inch titanium compression driver, this passive 2-way cabinet is engineered to pair with a 1200W Class-D amp channel and deliver up to 130 dB peak SPL at 1 meter — plenty of headroom for bars, houses of worship, and mobile rigs alike.
EV’s patented SST waveguide keeps the 90° x 60° dispersion pattern tight and consistent, so front-of-house gets even coverage without hot spots or dead zones creeping into the mix. On the control side, QuickSmartDSP brings four ready-made presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), sub/top crossover matching, three-band EQ, five user-programmable memory slots, and onboard limiter and level metering via LCD — dial it in fast and move on to the next problem.
Run the whole system wirelessly with the QuickSmart Mobile app over Bluetooth Low Energy: configure, monitor, and get overload alerts for up to six ELX200 boxes at once, right from the audience side of the stage.
The polypropylene composite enclosure keeps things light for load-in without sacrificing durability, and it’s outfitted with three M10 suspension points plus the familiar ZLX three-handle grip for quick rigging and easy carries.
