Description
The ELX118P takes the proven ELX118 cabinet and puts an amplifier inside it, giving front-of-house engineers and touring rigs a plug-and-play subwoofer that scales easily from small clubs to full festival stacks. At its core sits the EVS-18K woofer, tuned for extended low frequency output and delivering a usable range of 32 Hz to 130 Hz, with a calculated max SPL of 134 dB at one meter — enough headroom to keep kick and bass tight even when the room gets demanding.
- ELX118 acoustic performance, now self-amplified
- EVS-18K 18″ woofer for extended LF reach
- 32 Hz – 130 Hz frequency range
- Lightweight, cool-running 700 W Class D amplifier
- Selectable Normal/Boost modes for tailoring output to the room
- Combo XLR/TRS input plus XLR parallel link output for easy daisy-chaining
Built from 9-ply, 15mm internally braced plywood with a textured black finish and 18-gauge steel grille, the cabinet is engineered to survive load-in after load-in without adding unnecessary weight — a real advantage over composite or plastic alternatives at this power level. Omnidirectional coverage and an internal crossover at 100 Hz mean it drops straight into most Live X and mixed-brand rigs without fuss, while the Neutrik NL4 parallel input keeps cabling simple for multi-sub arrays.
Whether you’re running sound for a bar band or supporting a festival main stage, the ELX118P delivers rider-friendly low end that engineers trust and audiences feel.
