Description
When your show comms have to work every single time, the Clear-Com RS701 earns its spot on the belt. This single-channel analog beltpack ties into a 2-wire intercom line and delivers Clear-Com’s signature audio quality across the whole crew chain, from stagehands to the mix position.
- Mic-to-line frequency response of 280Hz–15kHz (±3dB) with under 0.1% distortion and better than 65dB signal-to-noise, so calls stay intelligible even in a noisy venue
- Headphone amp covers 150Hz–20kHz (±3dB) with adjustable sidetone, letting each operator dial in a comfortable listening level
- Simple, at-a-glance status via green Power and Talk LEDs plus an orange Call LED
- Two 3-pin XLR intercom connectors and a 4-pin XLR headset jack for standard beltpack headsets
- Runs on 12–30VDC with low current draw (13mA quiescent, up to 28mA when talking with signaling active), so it plays nicely with existing power infrastructure
- Rated for 0°C to 70°C operation, holding up in loading docks, outdoor stages, and hot booth environments alike
Compact at 3.4″ x 4.5″ x 1.7″ and just 0.66 lbs, the RS701 clips onto a belt without weighing down the crew. It’s the kind of unglamorous, rider-friendly gear that keeps a production running smoothly — one more reliable link in a scalable intercom rig.
