The BBE Magnum DI brings the reliability of BBE’s DI-100x design down to an accessible price point, minus the Sonic Maximizer circuit. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense active direct box built for FOH engineers, touring techs, and studio owners who need a dependable signal path they can trust show after show or session after session.
Housed in a 14-gauge steel chassis with a military-grade PCB inside, this DI is built to survive the rigors of load-ins, floor traffic, and permanent installs alike. A 2-way pad switch (0dB/-20dB) lets you tame hot signals from active instruments or keyboards, while the ground lift switch helps knock out hum and buzz caused by ground loops between stage and console.
Power flexibility is built in — run it off a standard 9-volt battery for quick setups, or use +48v phantom power from your console or interface, with a status LED to confirm you’re getting juice. Whether you’re patching a bass rig into the snake for a live show or feeding a DI signal to a recording console, the Magnum DI gets the job done cleanly.
