Description
Every touring and installed PA rig eventually needs a flexible signal utility box, and the ART SPLITMix4 fills that role without asking for power or adding its own noise floor. Since it’s completely passive, there’s no active circuitry between your source and your destination — just clean, transparent signal handling at virtually any level you throw at it.
The core idea is versatility. You can sum four stereo inputs down to a single stereo output for a compact submix, or flip it around and feed one stereo source out to four separate destinations for monitor sends, multi-zone distribution, or backup feeds. Because the intelligent switching on each 1/4-inch TRS jack automatically removes a channel from whichever bus it’s not being used on, you can also blend both modes at once — some channels mixing, others splitting — or run all four as independent attenuated pass-throughs. Mono or stereo operation simply depends on the cable and plug you use.
Each of the four channels has its own stereo level control, giving you over 90dB of attenuation range and solid channel-to-channel isolation — enough headroom for careful gain-staging between mismatched sources or destinations. As a line-level device with medium input and output impedances, it’s built for the practical, everyday routing problems that come up in live sound: splitting a monitor feed, combining playback sources, or building a quick submix on a stage or in a booth without adding another power draw to your rack.
