Description
Multi-zone installs live or die on flexibility, and the ART MX225 gives integrators exactly that: two stereo sources routed to five independent output zones, each with its own level control, mono summing, and metering. It’s built for feeding multiple amplifiers or powered speakers from a single rack space, whether you’re covering a restaurant, house of worship, retail floor, or corporate campus with zoned background audio.
Every input and output runs fully balanced on XLR, keeping noise out of long cable runs between the rack and remote amp locations. Each of the five zones can blend Source 1 and Source 2 independently, drop into mono when a zone only needs a single center signal, and give visual confirmation of signal presence via LED metering and mono/source indicator lights.
- Two balanced stereo source inputs, internally routed to all five zones
- Independent Source 1/2 level control per zone
- Stereo/Mono selector with mono indicator LED on each zone
- Five-segment LED metering (-25, -20, -15, -10, Clip) per zone for at-a-glance signal activity
- Source presence LEDs for quick troubleshooting
- All-balanced XLR I/O: 4 inputs, 10 outputs
- 47k Ohm input impedance, 200 Ohm output impedance
- +20dBu max input, +24dBu max balanced output, up to +6dB gain
- >90dB S/N typical, 0.05% THD typical
- Single-rackspace chassis with internal power supply: 1.75″H x 19″W x 7.25″D, 5.34 lbs
This unit is offered as a demo — fully functional and ready to anchor a zoned distribution system at a lower price point.
